We've scheduled an author-talk, book-signing, and story-telling session at King's Books and Doyle's Public House for Monday, July 28th. We're still working on the format and will post details as soon as the negotiating teams have finished the task.

King's Books features an eclectic collection of used, rare, and out-of-print books to go with its stock of new books. It's also the home of some interesting book clubs.

We read the "About" section on King's Books website, and it left us a bit perplexed. We haven't figured the place out yet, but will let you know on or about July 29th.

Visit King's Books.

Doyle's Public House has a full menu of Irish, British, and American foods. It even has a "Shepherd's Pie of the Month". This month (April) it is: Corned Beef Pie: Diced corned beef, carrots, onions, cabbage, and stone ground mustard in a seasoned white sauce. Crowned with mashed potatoes, and melted Irish Dubliner white cheddar. Seems delicious.

I wonder what will be the Shepherd's Pie of the Month in July? It doesn't matter. That is what I will have for dinner on Monday, July 28. Together with a pint of Guinness.

Visit Doyle's Public House.

King's Books announcement of the event is at this King's Book web page, and Doyle's Public House posted the event on its Facebook page.
