The Irish Genealogical Society of Michigan meets at the Gaelic League on Michigan Avenue in Detroit. The society meets next on Saturday, February 21st at 1:30 p.m. And ClanDonnell will be there.

Those in attendance may be surprised, because we have no intention of talking about Irish Genealogy. Besides, those in attendance may be more skilled in genealogy that we are.

Instead, we plan to tell some great Irish stories. It shapes up to be an enjoyable February afternoon, and gear-up for St. Patrick's Day.

Check out the Irish Genealogical Society of Michigan webpage, which currently features ClanDonnell on its home page. Don't forget to like and share the society on on Facebook.

Many thanks to the Michigan Irish American Chamber of Commerce for publicizing the event.

The event also made the "Things To Do In Detroit This Weekend" list, and the Detroit Free Press "More Fun Things To Do" for the weekend.
