Pittsburgh Irish Festival
Had a great time in Pittsburgh - once again!
We got in a traffic jam (actually, it was closer to grid lock) in Pittsburgh late Friday afternoon. Two bridges crossing the Monongahela River were closed. We arrived at the festival late, but in time to enjoy a few of our favorite bands.
We did two sets on Saturday - Irish yarns and legends and, with the Pittsburgh Hurling Club, a tale of an ancient hurling match.
We did two more sets on Sunday - more Irish yarns and legends, followed by a talk on the Easter Rising.
