The 20th Annual ABQ Folk Festival at the Balloon Fiesta Museum

We’re on Storytellers Stage for the Albuquerque Folk Festival. It’s Saturday, June 2nd at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque Balloon Museum. It will be all day with folk music, work sessions, jams, and, of course, storytelling.

ClanDonnell is on at 3:30 pm.

The blurb on the right is from the Irish Times, the newsletter of the Irish American Society of New Mexico.

UPDATE:

It was HOT day, although I should have expected as much on a June day in the high desert. But we packed out tent and filled the hour with some Irish stories. We even unveiled two new ones – “Upstairs/Downstairs” and “The Devil’s Bridge”. We’ll recycle both stories at future events.

The best part of the event, though, was the presence of ClanDonnell family – daughter, daughter-in-law, and grandson!
