News & Events August 2015
We're taking most of August off from the festival circuit. Our summers in Michigan are too short not to hang around and enjoy them!
We just returned from Dublin, Ohio and a wonderful Irish Festival. It is one of the most professionally done festivals anywhere, with a great corps of volunteers and extraordinary music. We’re looking forward to a return trip in 2016.
We’ve booked the Indy Irish Fest in Indianapolis – September 18th, 19th and 20th. We’re in for some storytelling and historical presentations on the cultural stage, as well as some stories on the children’s stage. Can’t wait!
Check out the Indy Irish Fest website and Facebook page.
We got the schedule for the Irish Music Festival hosted by Galway Bay Irish Pub in Ocean Shores, Washington, October 21st through 25th. We’ll be on stage telling Irish stories for five nights. We’ll also be doing a storyteller’s workshop on Saturday afternoon.
The Pittsburgh Irish Festival program is now in print and guess what? ClanDonnell is in it. We’re telling “The Feast – A Tale from the Ulster Cycle” on Saturday and “Becoming King – Two Tales from Ancient Ireland” on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Irish Festival is September 11th, 12th and 13th.
